While thinking about something to rant about, I found myself reflecting on the 'challenges' of the recruiting industry, trying to recall one that bothered me the most.  Then it came to me-this rant didn’t need to be negative at all. For me, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Yes, it can be discouraging and some days those challenges lead me to a glass of fine red wine at days’ end yet I can honestly say that I LOVE what I do!

I get to talk with and genuinely get to know people, on a deep personal level which I am grateful for. I learn what makes them tick and what pains them. I know what they do on weekends, their kid’s names even where they vacation.

I am blessed to have the resources and ability to literally change people’s lives. Perhaps it's helping someone make a more meaningful impact, perform more challenging work, spend more time with their family or increase their compensation. All in all, I serve a purpose…. I help people achieve their dreams, hopes and ambitions.

What could possibly be more rewarding and priceless?
