We have two ears and one mouth......for a reason.

How many times have I heard this? As a sales person I like to talk, sometimes too much. Don't ask me what I do for a living because you just might get an ear full. Boy, do I like to tell you how good our firm is, all the benefits of our service and how many problems I can solve. I get carried away some times but I have to keep reminding myself that no matter how good my service is, it has no value if I can’t solve the problem or if there simply is no problem to solve at all.

If I ask a lot of questions it is only because I want to know about you and more importantly what may be keeping you from being more successful. Perhaps you have a dream team of happy and incredibly successful people and there is nobody you would rather have on your team. Maybe your career is exactly where you want it and there is not another position in the world that you would rather have. I hope either or both are true for you. If not, maybe with a few questions we can discover something that I can do to help.

So, if I call you and rattle on about myself and blather on about all the things I can do for you please stop and remind me of the age old adage, "It is better to keep ones mouth shut and thought a fool -than to open it and remove all doubt." - Tom
